Mosaic- Is it really a creation from the Muses?

Well, when something so beautiful, so presentable and outrightly brand new can be created out of shattered glass, broken tiles, shards of metal or the likes, then it sounds about right to assume Mosaic to be the work of the Muses.

However, it never occurred to my conscious about how fascinated I was with mosaic art or mosaic artefacts until much later. It was only recently when I got into the home decor business that I realized that my house had a sprinkle of mosaic spread throughout. Unknowingly, over the years, I had picked up quite a few fascinating pieces of this fabulous art from various places.

Now, the more I am learning about this art form, the more I am getting obsessed with it. I wasn’t aware that mosaic art could be so intriguing. It has so much depth, drama, mystery, even chaos, with so many colours, layers and dimensions. And then the variations that one can bring to it is truly mesmerising. All in all, it is the perfect recipe for any major hit. This art form can be played with in multiple ways, many of which are yet to be explored, in order to create interesting pieces worthy of everyone’s attention. For an art with such tremendous potential, I am totally rooting for it in a huge way.
